Player Assessments
What assessments are used for
Assessments (skill, endurance, speed, tactical IQ ratings from 1–5) power the AI lineup generator. Higher-rated players in a position get preferential placement. Assessments are private — never shared with players or parents.
Rating players
Go to a player's detail page (tap any player on the Roster page) or use the Setup wizard Assessment step. Rate each attribute from 1 (developing) to 5 (excellent). You can update ratings any time during the season.
Coach notes
The player detail page has a private coach notes section. Add timestamped notes that build into a log over the season. Use this to track development, note concerns, or record post-game observations.
Position preferences
Each player can have up to 3 preferred positions. The AI uses these to avoid playing players out of position. If no preference is set, the AI will place the player based purely on their ratings.
