Adding players
Go to Roster → Add Player, or use the setup wizard Step 3. Each player has: first name, last name, grade, dominant foot (Left/Right/Both), preferred positions (select up to 3), and goalie preference.
Player fields explained
Preferred positions tells the AI lineup generator where to play each player. Goalie preference (Yes/No/Prefer not) helps the AI avoid assigning reluctant goalies. Grade is optional but useful for age-based groupings.
Editing players mid-season
Click any player on the Roster page to open their detail view. You can update all fields, add private coach notes, update assessment ratings, and see their bag tag history.
Marking players absent
On any game's Setup tab, mark players as absent for that game. Absent players are excluded from lineups and bench — they won't appear in the AI generator.
